The Man of God Program will be hosting a booth at the Holy Angels Parish Picnic and Family Festival this year. The Picnic is on June 24th at Lehman Catholic High School and will run from 4 P.M. until 10 P.M.

The primary reason for having this booth is to reach out to men attending the Picnic and help expose them to the Man of God Program. Our goal is fundamentally spiritual in scope and we hope that we can help many men in recognizing and living their God-given mission as men.

The booth will feature the essential message of the MOG Program both visually in various displays but also in the different items we plan on giving out or selling. That being said, the spiritual thrust of the Program is not always easy to showcase in an environment such as a parish picnic and we have chosen to employ various other means to draw attention to what our booth is all about.

We will be featuring a variety of different things to help draw men and boys to the MOG booth: a tomahawk throwing competition, a campfire throughout the day with the opportunity to make S'mores in the evening, an opportunity for boys (or men) to make and learn how to use a tube turkey call, a raffle for a MOG backpack (loaded with over $200 worth of equipment for hiking, camping, preparedness, etc. - see picture), and much more. We will be selling MOG stainless steel water bottles as well the MOG Rosary.

In order for this to become a reality we will need men to help work the booth. If the MOG Program has made a difference in your life please consider helping us at this first-ever MOG Booth! It will be a powerful opportunity to reach out to men and help recruit new soldiers for the war that is raging. Even if you are not from Holy Angels Parish I would ask you to consider helping us spread the MOG message! (FYI: if we make any money it will be used to help sustain our MOG Program.)
